Sun City Stadium (demolished) - Sun City, Arizona

All of these images are from the internet, and there are very few photos of Sun City Stadium.

Sun City Stadium sat about 4,000.

Sun City Stadium opened in 1971 and was razed in 1995. A housing development sits on the site today.

The Brewers second spring training home. The first was Tempe Diablo stadium, which the Seattle Pilots also used in 1969. The Brewers used Tempe Diablo for one season in 1970, their first year in Milwaukee. Tempe Diablo is now the spring home for the Angels.

Located northwest of Phoenix, Sun City is a master planned community by famed developer Del Webb.

The Brewers came here in 1971 for Spring Training and stayed until 1985. The Brewers left for Chandler and Compadre stadium. There is an irony here, as Compadre stadium is now razed and, you guessed it, a housing development sits on the site.

The biggest problems for Sun City stadium was lack of parking and lack of training fields.

The ballpark was razed in 1995 for housing. There is no trace of the existence of a ballpark at the site.

Location - 110th and Olive, Sun City, Arizona
